March, 2013 was spent in Mumbai, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra, Panna National Park, Varanasi, and Delhi.

A country with a strong heritage in religion, the Mogul Empire and the British rule, it struggles to find its identity and structure in the 21^st Century equivalent to the prominence of its mass and legacy.

Within this are a people who are gallant and attentive to their respective regional ethno-linguistic individualities that defines a homogeneous nationalistic culture.  These images seek to catch the spirit of each individual captured in an image.
